It Happens

"Little things' create weight. Sometimes they pile on over time, other times we may feel overwhelmed suddenly. With a Hoping lifestyle you'll feel shifts of all sorts. In this blog we're going to relate to the shift toward Home Team management and Habits in place of chores.
Let's face it, **it happens. Someone uses the end of the roll and doesn't change it. Then, the next trip you make instantly creates a 'chore'. Have you ever thought, or even said, 'why am I the only one who does this?!?!??!' and then you angrily grab the new roll from the handy storage place, swap the roll and complete the 'chore'?
I'm raising my hand in Hoping honesty
Here is the conversation starter Hopefuls! Expressed my lack of understanding and simply asked my family to just do it. Opening the conversation brought to light that we're just programmed differently. I learned that the roll was left empty for a couple of reasons...1) didn't know where the new was stored 2) didn't realize this was an issue of frustration 3) thought they would be doing it 'wrong' so just didn't bother with it. Finally, it came down to me just asking them to make an effort in participating in this 'little thing'. Behold, a shift to team management and less stress for one. Shifting to team management creates a habit in place for the entire home team relieving a 'chore' item for one manager.
What are your 'little things' that you'd like to shift in your Hoping Lifestyle? We can help you get the conversations started and get to living more in the moment.
